Types of Magnetic Bracelets for Pain Relief

By now, you probably know that magnetic bracelets are used for hand, wrist, arm, and shoulder pain. You may also have heard that golfers and arthritis sufferers wear them, and others wear them as a preventative measure.

You probably also know some of the benefits claimed by those who wear magnetic bracelets. What you may not understand are the differences between the various types offered for sale. In this article I'll discuss some of the main types of bracelets so you'll know what to look for.

Although bracelets are made in different ways, there are a few different major styles based on construction. When shopping for bracelets, here are the main types you'll be looking at.

Magnetic bracelets can be made as singles, doubles, triples, or as a magnetic wraps.

Singles - Single bracelets are, like the name says, a single strand of bead. The beads can be either all magnetic, or magnetic with accent beads. They can be either the stretchy type, or non-stretchy with a magnetic clasp.

Doubles - Doubles are two strands of beads, non-stretchy type, with a magnetic clasp. Doubles allow for up to twice the magnets as singles which can provide for stronger therapy.

Triples - Triples are made with three strands of beads, and a magnetic clasp. They may have up to three times the number of magnets as a single.

Lariats - Magnetic lariats, also snakes or wraps can be used as a necklace or anklet as well. They are typically 36 or 37 inches long, and are clasp-less. They wrap around your neck, arm, or ankle, using the magnets to stay together. They are very versatile, strong, and popular.

Now that you're familiar with the basic types, you can better make your choice. Style and attractiveness are secondary to the therapy properties, unless you're buying strictly for fashion.

Remember, when choosing magnetic bracelets for pain relief, you want the strongest therapy advantage you can get. You accomplish this by buying the one with the largest number of strong magnets.
